The best property campaigns are decided before anyone picks up a camera. A few choices made at booking time shape everything that follows — and they’re much easier to make before the day than after.
1. Decide what the campaign needs
Start with the property, not the package. A standard home may need photography, a floor plan and a few aerials. A premium home, a large section or a competitive market usually justifies video, twilight and a social reel. Capturing it all in one visit saves the vendor a second appointment.
2. Send the essentials when you book
The property address, the preferred date, the media you need, and anything the campaign should highlight — a view, a new kitchen, the land. Last-minute bookings are often possible, subject to availability.
3. Check the airspace early
Parts of Auckland sit near airports and controlled airspace, where drone flights are restricted or need approval. Sending the address early means the aerial plan is confirmed before the shoot, not on the day.
4. Prepare the property
Clear benches and surfaces, open curtains and blinds, turn on the lights, move cars off the driveway and put bins out of sight. Small things make a big difference in a wide shot.
5. Make the creative choices
For video and reels, tell us your music preference. For twilight, tell us if you have a preference for the sky — a warm glow or a deep blue. These are small decisions that make the final media feel like your campaign.
6. Plan for delivery
Photos, floor plans and aerials are usually delivered within 24 hours; video and reels within 48 hours. Book with the listing date in mind and the media will be ready when the campaign goes live. See our booking terms for the details.
